Major Bai Lan Zhu Talk

The CEID and Yale Undergraduate Aerospace Association hosted a discussion with Major Bai Lan Zhu of the U.S. Air Force on Friday, Nov. 9 at 4:00 PM.

Major Zhu spoke with students about aerospace launch logistics with a special emphasis on rocketry.

Major Zhu previously worked at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, an important launch site for U.S. space exploration. In her four years there she worked as a mission assurance and systems engineer for the Delta IV and Atlas V rockets. For her technical risk assessment in the Delta IV project she was named the 2008 Space Coast Distinguished New Engineer of the Year.
